At the BPW Switzerland Delegates’ Assembly held on 19–20 June 2026 in Davos Klosters, important association business, elections and re-elections, as well as key decisions shaping the future of the organisation, took centre stage.
This year’s Delegates’ Assembly was organised by the dedicated women of BPW Club Davos Klosters and provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions, strategic decision-making, and exchange among delegates from across Switzerland.
President Myriam Heidelberger Kaufmann was confirmed in office for another year.
At the same time, personnel changes took place due to term limits and resignations.
Sandra Jauslin stepped down from the Central Board after many years of dedicated service. BPW Switzerland sincerely thanks her for her tireless commitment to advancing the political and economic equality of women in Switzerland.
Changes also occurred within the Audit Committee: Evelyne Wacker (BPW Club Wil) stepped down from her role due to term limits.
BPW Switzerland warmly thanks her for her many years of valuable service.
Gaby Köhli (BPW Club Bern) was elected as the new Auditor.
In addition, Vera Bender (BPW Club Lucerne) resigned from the Central Board.
Bettina Zimmermann (BPW Club Baselland) was elected as a new member of the Central Board.
Another important decision of the Delegates’ Assembly was the approval of the proposal concerning BPW Young membership fees submitted by Vanessa Orlando (BPW Club Zurich).
She advocated for this matter with great dedication and commitment.
The delegates’ approval marks a significant milestone in strengthening the involvement of young professional women and ensuring the sustainable rejuvenation of BPW Switzerland’s membership base.
In the future, the association will be led by President Myriam Heidelberger Kaufmann together with Central Board members Jana Fehrensen, Christine Megert, Barbara Haller Rupf, Vanessa Orlando and Bettina Zimmermann.
BPW Switzerland warmly congratulates all elected women and looks forward to continued successful cooperation in promoting the professional, economic and social advancement of women in Switzerland.
